FALSE COLOR-INFRARED (FCIR)
False Color-Infrared is the main tool used to consult and diagnose. Our primary use is irrigation management, but FCIR can also be used to target pests and ensure field work is done properly.
NDVI VS EVI
NDVI is the industry standard, but it has unique limitations. Smoke and haze, soil, and dense canopy coverage cause it to be unreliable, which is why we use a modified EVI. EVI is similar to NDVI, but includes soil and atmosphere filters. Below is an example of NDVI vs our EVI in moderate smoke.
