ABOUT OUR COMPANY

"Photography is the indisputable truth"

Photography Plus has been serving agriculture in the lower Columbia Basin since 1975. Our founder and President, Martin Pitney, learned about the power of infrared sensitive film while farming sugar cane on the island of Hawaii. Martin moved to the Columbia Basin to farm potatoes, and continued to use infrared film to detect stress before it became a problem. 35mm film was the original format, followed by 70mm using Hassleblad 500 series cameras.  With Aerochrome film production ceasing, we went digital in 2006. We still maintain the archived film slides.

Agriculture consultation has always been the heart of Photography Plus, and has kept the decision maker in mind. As technology advances and becomes increasingly complex, we maintain our connection to agriculture, filtering unnecessary data and keeping our clients up to date on immediate, need to know information.
